Spawned out of another topic - if you were asked to recommend a good restaurant of the following types, which ONE would you suggest in the Calis and Fethiye area:

1. Chinese
2. Indian
3. Lokanta/kebap/economy Turkish
4. Best Turkish
5. Best steak (Jacqui need not answer that one

6. Italian
7. Seafood
8. Money no object

Believe it or not, new visitors to the area (and Turkey) like these CBF topics and some even print them off to take on holiday with them.

1. Chinese = Serkul (the 1 without the soba! but still not that good)
2. Indian = There isn't 1 in Calis

3. Lokanta/kebap/economy Turkish = Frank Cannons
4. Best Turkish = Mozaic Bahce
5. Best steak = Kings Garden
6. Italian = Bella Mamma
7. Seafood = Yengec
8. Money no object = Yengec was the most expensive meal I had so same again.

Here's mine:

1. Chinese = Dragonaro (Hisaronu)
2. Indian = Shine (Hisaronu) but still not even close in comparison to a decent Indian here in UK
3. Lokanta/kebap/economy Turkish = Ocakbasi (Fethiye)
4. Best Turkish = Mozaic Bahce
5. Best steak = I honestly don't know - my favourite, Le Terace (above the original Bus Stop) is gone and I haven't had one I'd rave about since.
6. Italian = Bella Mammas
7. Seafood = Receps (Fethiye Fish Market)
8. Money no object = Saraphane Wine House (Ata Park Hotel - Fethiye).

I'm not a copy cat but have noticed that my answers read very similar to yours Keith

1.Dragonara (haven't been for a while but was always the best)
2.Shine (no question)
3.A big vote for CinBal kaya koy if this comes under here... if not Ocakbasi

5.I really can't remember... unless I can say Kusadasi
