New Italian in Calis
« on: March 30, 2012, 09:09:45 AM »
I was out and about yesterday evening and noticed the work in progress at the old Bostans restaurant along the front. Changes being made to the interior, and got to meet the guys that will be running the restaurant this year. They seem really nice and are 100% Italian. So I personally can't wait for them to open and cook up some 'true' Italian food :D

Alternative description to above post:

I was walking along Calis front when a handsome hunky olive skinned Latin caught my eye so struck up a conversation to get him interested. After 1/2 an hour of "conversation" *swoon* I got the info I wanted, he was married & the restaurant is going to be Italian!

Close Nikkie???

After living in Palermo, Sicily for years I know the difference on what is Italian food or not.  Only ever had mediocre pizzas at the other two restaurants on the front as from what I saw the meals were not true Italian.  Can't wait to try it in May :D

After telling my other half, he wanted to know how Italians would get a work permit to open a restaurant in Turkey?   It's not my fault he has an enquiring mind!
