I have just done a comparison which is quite revealing. May be affected by school holidays in England and Scotland but

Glasgow nearly 20 % dearer than Aberdeen and
Manchester nearly 46 % dearer than Aberbeen.

I have heard that Newcastle folk will go from Glasgow as they get better deals.  Yet I know people who have regularly gone from Newcastle.
I am surprised that Aberdeen is cheaper than Glasgow.  When you take into account the cost to drive to Glasgow you will be in for a good saving.
Us mean Scots need to think about these things:

I too had difficulties with FTC website this last few days. I couldn't get past the 1st page for 2 days. This morning, I got all the way through & pressed the authorise for the payment & got an error message back, server down or something like that. I thought I would leave it for a couple of hours before trying again.

Lucky I did & fortunately I checked my spam box beforehand cos there was my itinery all booked & paid for
