Well it's not in Calis ;). Don't know if you know Fethiye and/or this map is a big enough scale.

Dolmus to terminus in Fethiye. Turn left and walk into town. Take second on right. Just behind Domino Pizza.

Unless someone can give more accurate.

A lot of working Turkish people eat local food in restaurants in the area of Fethiye near to the cinema. There are a few to choose from.

Not sure of the name but the left hand side of Dennis the Mennace has opened a Turkish/Indian restuarant.  Havent tried it so not sure what the food is like.  Its a real shame that Calis doesnt have one Turkish eating establishment:( Sardunya used to be good near Scarletts but sadly that has gone and Memhet from the Harem would cook you any Turkish dish if you gave him notice the day before.

Try the lokantas or vitamin cafe for a quick snack on the main road in Gunlukbasi.

Most of the restaurants will do a lamb shank if you order it in advance.
I remember on our Wedding Anniversary we asked at George's for a traditional Turkish meal to be cooked for the next day. We had a lamb dish that was lovely. Savas told us it was a meal his Mother cooked for special occasions.
The restaurants in Calis cater for the British visitors because they are asked for Full English, Sunday Roasts, Steak Dinners, chips, etc.,   So it's not surprising they supply what there are asked for.
It is seems now the Brits  are realising what is most popular and what we want the most is Turkish Food in Turkey.  The shining example of this is the Mozaik Bahce which is always No.1 on T.A. and people come to it from all the resorts around Fethiye to eat they lovely food and why it's so recommended on this Forum.
Time some resourceful Turk opened a Turkish Restaurant in Calis and remembered to keep the standards high and the food always good.

Jacqui - we have had this discussion before.

I simply do not believe that what most Brits want is Turkish Food in Turkey.
