Animal Aid can announce now we are planning to buy an X-ray machine for the sick and injured animals of Fethiye :)

This will be owned by Animal Aid but placed in the safe hands of Serkan the vet :)

With the large donation by Carol Holbrook and her friends plus the money from Valleyboys sponsored walk and another donation coming in soon we are almost there :)

I can't thank you all enough for the help and support we get from all of you 8) see you all at the Table Top sale tomorrow! ;)

Wow thats fab news. well done to everyone.  Just a bit confused am I right in thinking that no vet in Fets have an x-ray machine. What has happened in the past if an x-ray was needed.  Just curious 8)

no some vets have them already but we use Serkan as he speaks very good English and is probably the most competant vet we have come across, he also appreciates the work we do for street animals ;)

Unfortunately he doesn't have an x ray machine and has to take injured animals to another vet which is not a good situation to be in accident situations where time matters.

We can't get one for the shelter as there is only a part time vet there and is not suitable for accident injuries as it is a neuter and return centre.

 :)
