Good point H but you have to remember that these companies are after your business and they need to show up well on the comparison sites etc - so unless they all do it then I can't see it happening any time soon. On top of that, I think quoting without the hold luggage is OK as many people just travel with hand luggage these days (especially those with apartments/houses/timeshares etc).
What gets me though is the hellish prices they charge to take a suitcase. Criminal really!
