Will Dalaman be open this Xmas / New Year?

I heard rumours a while back that the International Terminal found it too costly to open for a few flights and as a consequence only the Domestic terminal would be open?

Has anyone got news on this front?

Friends of ours couldn't find any flights into or out of Dalaman so the rumours may be true.

But they still manage to open International arrivals (passport control, baggage, duty free & customs) for the handful of transit passengers every time there's an incoming flight from Istanbul, so I really cannot see the difference

I heard it's closed because they want the same money in winter from the airline as they charge in summer and TC are not prepared to pay, don't know if that is the reason or not.

Fly Thomas Cook will be operating at Dalaman over Xmas & New Year.

20 December Dalaman to Manchester £95.51

3 January Manchester to Dalaman £88.53

Much better than travelling to Antalya.  For anyone who has booked Antalya it might be worth paying the £20 fee to change airport.

Dont know when you booked your flights Marggie but those flights are coming up £161 inbound and £148 outbound, so you got a really good deal.

Well Marggie wish I had stayed on line, just looked and the Manchester 7pm flight 20th Dec is coming £168!!!! so must have sold out........Well peed of to say the least.

Bee have to agree with Marggie's post. Also 21/12 Dalaman to Gatwick 71.70 euros 23/12 89.16 euros returning to Dalaman 3rd Jan 72.95 euros
