Hi Barrie and Shirley, great to hear from you and glad you had a great time with Chrissy & Pete and even better news that you've had Shirley out doing a few more jewellery shops! Hope to see you both soon.

Last night we took up our promise donated by Carol and Recep at Bostan's. The prize was a meal including a bottle of wine followed by an overnight stay in the Penthouse. We took the opportunity to spend the day at Bostan's and booked in at about 11.00am, after booking into the room and enjoying the lovely view over to Fethiye from the roof terrace we ventured down to the lovely pool and gardens, swim, sunbathe, a few drinks and lunch were taken in that order.

We were impressed by the choice of food on offer which is all cooked to order and many of the dishes are not seen on the menu elsewhere, we also noticed several people having the Sunday lunch which looked lovely. For dinner, I went for the pork chop cooked in cider and tarragon which was really nice and Chris equally enjoyed her Chicken with apple and brandy. There was loads of other things that tempted us on the menu and we are booked in to try the monthly curry night which happens first Tuesday of the month.

Once again, thanks for donating the promise to the charity and we both enjoyed our day thoroughly.

Keep the reviews comimg even if they arent favourable, We can then "forget" to ask the said place next year. We welcome all reviews of restaurants as well as gifts that you may have bought. My friend is doing "The Sun Dial day"which is an evening meal with wine and a night in the hotel with breakfast. and a dive day next week so I will report back on them. The return transfer by A2B was really good. They will be using them again so there kind donation has already earned them 2 more regular customers.

Review of The donation from The Sun Dial Hotel.... Dinner bed and breakfast.  Our friends bought this from the Promises auction amongst other things and they were over the moon with the Sun Dial. They were given a room overlooking the pool and the whole of Fethiye and it had a lounge area and kitchenette in it... Great if you are staying more than the one night. They had all of the afternoon there and they were given the choice of anything they wanted off the menu. They said it was really excellent. A nice sleep in a quite room and then a delicious breakfast..... They will be fighting people off if this gets donated again next year. It was a superb donation. Thanks Murat.

A review of the Discover scuba diving day donated by Lykia World. This was taken by my friend who dont read the forum.... He has always wanted to do this but by his own admition didnt have the nerve until this came up at The Promises Auction. He was told that he could also take his wife for the day for 20 quid. So she took them up on it. Andy kindly picked them up on his way to work there at 7.a.m. He took them to the restaurant village and said they could eat and drink anything they wanted. He settled on bacon butties as he was slightly nervous. His wife had the full works.lol. !!! Andy advised her where the best pools where. how to get around and do the little bus tour.  Rick was taken for his suit and given very comprehensive safety advice etc. 5 skills!!  they then went diving but he wasnt happy so came back up. Andy was absolutley brilliant!! calmed him down and said if he wanted to give up that was fine but as he had come so far it would be a shame and "should we do just another 10 mins" which due to Andys skill and patience turned into one of the best 40 mins of his life.... Andy never left his side the whole time. He got a certificate and will be trying it again next time he comes over from England. It was a lifetimes ambition and had he not been at the Auction would probably never have realised it. They also got a superb lunch at the amazing restaurant and spent a lovely afternoon at Lykia before being brought home again by Andy. So a big big thank you to Lykia World and in particular Andy and I mustnt forget Lin his wife who helped set up the day with me on the phone and kept me informed of everything they would need. I believe that there was another dive day sold so if anyone knows who took it could they let us know how they got on. Also The All inclusive day at Majesty Tuana?

Dont forget for anyone who has bought meals at the Promises Auction that they have to be taken before the end of THIS season.  I still have 2 but as one is a romantic venue I will be saving it towards our Ruby wedding in October. The other I am waiting for until it is cooler weather. Pie and mash and a pudding with custard from pies and pasties. Roll on October.
