Forgot to add our review - sorry!  We had our meal at the Chinese Breeze and it was really, really good.  I am afraid this is a restaurant that we have previously walked past and never bothered with but we were very impressed with it.  We had taken our daughter with us so we paid for one extra person which was no problem at all.  Highly recommended and now we will eat there again.  Thanks 3Cs!

We have a massive target to achieve in next years auction, if anyone can help out with a 'promise' however big or small, it will be greatly appreciated. I think we had about 160 promises this year and so I guess you can see the size of our task in these tough times.

Sorry but I think you might have got hold of the wrong end of the stick on my reply. I'm not a bit disappointed about any review, quite the contrary actually, I was just hoping to stimulate people to think about 2013 promises. Like I said, we have a big target to beat.

No George. I meant if anyone was dissapointed with a promise that they should also let us know then we can either sort it out or "side step" the same promise next year. Also we have promises already coming in for 2013 but we are keeping them secret. Wouldnt want to spoil it.

Barrie and I went to Pies and Pastries today for our "pie fix" after the hot Summer. The deal was choice of any pie meal with chips or mash mushy peas and gravy. Any hot or cold desert for afters. We chose the steak pie with chips and lemon cheesecake to follow. It was really very good. Barbara came in with us for a cup of tea. Decided to buy herself a sandwich and pinched half my cheesecake I might add!!  Lisa didnt charge for any of our drinks either and she also gave Barbara her lunch for free. Not a fortune I know but a lovely gesture all the same.... She is also baking us a cake to sell at The Coffee morning at Bostans.   Very happy now my tummy is full. Thanks Lisa......The lemon cheescake is delicious!!!!!!!!

A bit late, but we got the two teeth whitenings at the Auction and they were used by my son and his new wife two weeks ago before the Wedding and they were both delighted with the treatment they got and the results where "sparkling"...  We look forward to the 2013 Auction as we know we will find somethings that we will want to bid on.    ;) ;D

Strangely enough, we saw Jacqui Harvey and her family in dentist Cagatays waiting room considering the auction was held in June and by pure coincidence we both chose to take up our treatment promise in late September.

Chris won the two dental veneers ( sometimes called ceramics) she had already had four veneers carried out by Cagatay a couple of years ago and was delighted with the result, she chose to pay for a further two to go with the two she had bid for and won in the auction.

The treatment was started and completed in just a week involving just 3 visits to the surgery and once again thee results are first class. She has now decided to have the old black fillings in a couple of back teeth removed and replaced with white, hopefully, that will complete her 'Hollywood Smile'

We have to send our thanks to Cagatay, both of his promises were not only very valuable items raising an awful lot of money for the charity but it seems both recipients are really happy with the end result.
