Brilliant. Just goes to show, there are kids that don't take everything they get for granted. The look on those kids faces said it all. Marvellous work by all involved. You should be very proud of yourselves for making those kids so happy.

I have just caught up with this after being on holiday.
I waited to share it with Gus when he came home.  To say we were both moved was an understatement.
It must have been a moving experience to have been there.
Glad you made that event Keith.

There are no words for it Heather - and actually, it struck me that there were no photos for it, the photos I was taking didn't seem to reflect the atmosphere at all - then I remembered I could take half decent video on my camera - and that is what I managed to capture. It was electric, simply electric - I hope that comes across at least a little in the film - there were far too many "look at what I got" moments from so many kids holding (sometimes fairly basic) gifts and stationary items aloft. It was impossible to capture them all. But at least I think we got the moment - the room bursting with happiness and excitement moment.

If my little video does actually convey that then I am delighted, because everyone who donated should have the opportunity to actually *see* what we were privileged to be there to witness.

And hear  :)

It does Keith. There were many special moments.
Not boasting and feeling a bit silly,  but I actually said wouldn't it be nice if every child had their own pencil case and some pens etc,  but as usual the generosity of CBF members surpassed what they were given.  The reward for all their hard work was to see the look on the children's faces.
Loved the look on your face when they were too busy to play football with you.  You must have done something right there was one wee boy who. looked like he would be after a job with Galatasaray

That is my favourite moment in the video - it is so unlike the day actually was - we played quite a lot of football and the kids were so into it (bearing in mind a football is a rare thing in Bozalan!) and I impressed them with my ball juggling skills - no really!! - sadly none caught on video - but it was so funny that when the camera was rolling the little lad just saw something else exciting and buggered off!!
