Just seen starmans post! Couldnt agree more about avoiding Turkish wines! Wouldnt touch with a barge pole at home but when in Rome.....
If they sold a pinot grigio anywhere near Calis I'd stock up- but a blush? Hmm

I dont know about down there but most supermarkets have it. I have heard though that the cheap foreign wines do get shipped in massive containers and are then bottled here.
We are quite lucky by having a decent wine shop in my area where they have a good selection of Sauv blancs from New Zealand and brunellos from italy.
I still have my stock from when I was in Napa valley 8 months ago and even a cab from Hawaii although I doubt that will ever get opened.
I must have about 20 odd bottles of Turkish wine which I dont bother keeping in a fridge and use it for when we get invited to parties etc. In fact some bottles are doing the rounds and have come back twice.
