They Don't Know We Talk...

You may have noticed the change in the Calis Beach Forum heading the other day - I did it after reading the post from Anne (mercury) about some restaurants and bars putting short term gain ahead of greater long term potential by trying to rip people off. One of the real achievements of Calis Beach Forum is that we share this info. The restaurants (I think) believe it is better to make a crooked one-off gain because after all if they don't come back who cares - they made 100% profit on the rip off bit...what they have no idea of is that we are here, thousands of us, sharing our experiences. That extra 10 lira they conned out of a couple of us doesn't mean those two people won't be there again, it means they and perhaps dozens of us won't bother even trying the place.

But this is not a negative topic - I was wondering, what about a mention for the good guys - the restaurants who you never have a problem with the bill when it comes. Please mention yours but for me I would say first and foremost (but in no way exclusively) the Meeting Point - never, ever have I had to query a bill in there  

Add yours - and when there we can support the good guys.

Meeting Point, Barbella, Bostans, Nil, Rose, Zyra - never had to question anything about standards or quality in these & I'm sure there are more when I have the time to log them all.

Me too never had to query a bill at the Meeting Point, Nil Bar or the Amber Pide all three of these places have menu's with the prices clearly printed on them.
We have also become a little bit like who do we want to give our hard earned money to and so if we think we will be having a bit of a blow out liquer coffes after eating things like that then we do now find we  take that into the equation when deciding where we will be going of an evening

Meeting Point, Barbella,Marias,Eyna , Georges and Mozaik Bahce used each this week ,excellent service at all .Forgot to mention Guitarci Bar which was also worth a visit.

The meeting point and Eyna. Gunuislik and Nil barwere the first places that sprung to mind for never having to question the bill. What they dont realise these bars and businesses is that bad news travels twice as fast as good. I dont always post about a bad meal on here as that could just be my taste but Carretta Beach will never get ours or any of my friends custom again and I have lots of friends who will be passing this on....Look at Koca Calis forum MK.

If I am not mistaken Carretta Beach is now run by the Council, will they never learn we won't pay the prices they try to charge. have they not learnt from the  sun bed scenario
