i would be interested to know as well. I have bought them from 2 different opticians here but would like to know about someone who is experienced in [rescribing them not just selling them.

Well, my wife had an eye test in calis and bought glasses there and we thought we had saved a lot of Money.

However, they were simply not up to the standard we would get in UK, the anti-glare and lens coating was poor, and the frames weak.

I needed new galsses recently, and it was not much more in Specsavers! I actually bargained with them saying I had a prescription, and I could get them for much less in Turkey, got a discount!

Well, actually none, just a general reply for anyone else who may see it that
glasses not such a wonderful deal so contacts probably similar, jsut trying to
be generally helpful, but, yes not specifically 100% relevant to a contact lens  8)

I spoke to an optician in Calis when collecting items for the Promises auction and his advice was "buy them in England" they are not good here. As I live here not very helpful.  Maybe Kartal Goz is the place to try? anyone been there for tests or check ups?

Not allowed because they check with your last optician when you last had an eye test or contact lense check.

Kartal Goz do not sell them they tell you to go to an optician but they couldn't say which one in particular.
Had the full eye test done at Kartal Goz and it was as good as the UK tests. Cost 60tl or 35tl with SGK.
I just want to try one months use here to see if I get on with them and then I'll order on line and some of the on line suppliers will post here. I will get them sent to a visitor to bring over and you can get from 3 months to a years supply.
