Conned is the only word that comes to mind. Yesterday while strolling down the front, La Testi restaurant had big advertising boards showing pictures and proclaiming " Tonight" we asked one of the staff about it and he told us that a big show would start 8 pm. Not only was Stavross Flateley performing but also some other bloke who he said was seen on Britain's got Talent as Michael Jackson.
Anyway, we took our seats just before 8 pm and ordered a bottle of wine (40 TL) 8 pm came and went and I called the waiter to ask when Stavross Flateley would be performing, he then told me that they were not actually on tonight but would be there in the future ! He then told me that Michael Jackson was now being joined by Freddie Mercury !
By 9 pm the place was full and mysteriously the big advertising boards were taken down. At 9.30 there was absolutely no sign of a show and so we got up and left.
La Testi restaurant will never get another lira of my money.
P.S. the food also looked awful, we saw two tables complain and both were offered a free 'shot' by way of compensation.
