Depends on the airline but I can only do online check in for any onward flights or return flights that are same day return. Cant do online check in if your return is say a week or so after your first flight.

You normally check in for the flight you are about to take and then you have to check in again just before your return flight date

There is no online check in for easyjet at Dalaman so everyone queues up in traditional fashion, even hand luggage only passengers.

As far as I know only Ryanair let you check in both flights 15 days before you travel .. and they don't fly to Turkey (yet). However you can only check in on line unless you want to pay another £60 to check in at the airport.

Having said that I don't recall having to check in again the last time we flew with FTC. We flew from the UK having checked in on line and then just turned up at Dalaman after ringing to check the flight was still on time before we left for the airport. Not sure if any of them still allow you to choose one or both options.

Dont know about easyjet but with THY and BA, return flights can only be checked in online if returning the same day of your departure flight.

There doesn't appear to be any facility for confirming your return flight with Thos. Cook any more we just turned up at airport.

With Jet2 you check in from 28 days before the flight and you check in for outbound and inbound together then print off your boarding cards (again for outbound and inbound). Worked very well for us !

Never checked in on-line with easyjet, just turned up at airport both ways and never had a problem..
