I have had a few repairs done by zummrut jewellers, never had a problem with him, based in Calis, he's on the road heading towards the bridge to the beach, left hand side where you can also get a good exchange rate for your money  :) hope this helps!

When we were in Calis in june we found the man who does jewellery repairs who has a tiny work shop up the alley way going to the guitar bar very good indeed and was cheaper than going into a Calis jewllers who we know one of them takes his repair items into him to repair, we saw him come in to the workshop,.

Also some CBF  members may remember the smallish brilliant  repairer who used to work for Mete in the golden moon gold shop in Calis well we found him on our last day of our holiday, he now runs the little Turkish Snack bar by the taxi rank just over the bridge he told us he still has all the things at home to do repairs and  for make things to order and has lots of work comming in .

This is excellent information as my wife tried to get some jewellery repaired when we were in Kas last year and everyone said they could do it but all of them wanted a week to do it in --- pretty obvious that they just send it away somewhere just like the UK. We declined as if anything was wrong no doubt another week to wait to get it back!

So thanks for the original post -

Mentioned as a "Hidden Treasure" Two years ago, along with the tailor both offer excellent service at an even better price. Now we also have the "Hidden Oasis" with the Guitar Bar,genuine pleasant Turkish music played, not the drum banging wailing played along the beach,Turkish food,a really great place to chill out,

That's really interesting thanks to everyone for the information. Blueclad any idea of the guy's name?  My son was waiting to come over and get some wedding rings made.
Thanks again.
