Sad news we have lost Geoff Hughes,  was great actor and comedian, loved him as eddie yates in corrie and onslow in keeping up apperances also twiggy in the royle family. .

Some years ago he lived near me in Northamptonshire where he owned a small electrical shop, he loved sailing and was often out on his boat. Sorry to hear the news about his death, my sympathy to his widow.

He was, along with Mike Baldwin, a conneseur of fine wines. Many, many years ago, when they were making a personal appearance in Cleethorpes, the two of them managed to virtually drink the hotel cellar dry of the good wines we kept in stock. 'Twas quite a night & neither of them made breakfast the following morning  :

Yes very sad news. Never heard a bad word about him.His 'Twiggy' character made me laugh out loud.
