They've stopped the in flight films, or radio, which seemingly is part of their cut backs. How this can save them money, baffles me.

The licence fees for showing movies are mega, as are the performing rights fees for playing any music

But they made loads of money on the stupid price they used to charge for their headphones 4.50 + and used to get a real sad on when people saved them for future flights and refused to buy more, so then they used to refuse to put films on if they hadnt sold enough of them!!

We didn't get any entertainment with Monarch either this year.  So they've maybe cut back also, unless it was just our flight.

Only in flight entertainment they have in recent years is the cabin crew, they come around every 5 mins trying to sell you something, I think last time I become part owner of the left wing!

It depends on the sort of plane you fly in with T.C.  We were offered a film on our flight coming over in May. There was a charge to watch it.   I have heard on other Forums that it's pot luck which plane you get that may be fitted with the facility to watch films.

Usually some little brat kicking the back of your seat ,grabbing your hair or head if you are bald whilst their teenage mums are getting pi$$ed,or there is the great game of trying to get your knees in without breaking them when you sit down if you are over 6ft.Or the great sing a long by a few Tom Jones ,who started with refreshments in the airport.
Ooh the joy of TC.  ;D ;D
