I watch that programme too, but I have sold muff brushes in the past, so did not think about the other meaning. Some of the Victorian/Edwardian muffs had a little pocket inside to put the brush in... People do mistakenly think they are moustache brushes as they did on the programme.
Have to say there are collectors for these brushes, however, will look at them in a new light now...
