Does anyone know where the hypermarket is in Rhodes in relation to the port where we catch the ferry back to Fethiye. Is it open at 8am Sunday morning

How much is the trip Mark, might fancy a day out over there ourselves.

If you mean the Spar (and Lidl opposite - great pre-packed smoked ham joints there!) it is about 5 miles out of Rhodes Town on the Falaraki road (signposted Lindos too). You can get a taxi there, it was always 5 euros but may be a bit more.

Never been on a Sunday, not sure on that one.

Thanks Keith we have been in Rhodes for 4 days so went to the Lidde Saturday Australian wines £3 a bottle some real bargains, found the port ok

I was thinking the same thing - last time i saw it advertised it was about 70 tl - must have been a while ago???

We booked thtough Sovayle tours near 1905 bar £56  to go Wed come back Sun. included return transfers to Fethiye.

It is possible to make the most of 2 nights or more.

If you pick the right days it is possible to leave around 8-30 in the morning and get the return from Rhodes around 4-30.

We dıd ıt last week and got pıcked up at 7.30am .Left Fethıye at 9am arrıved Rhodes at 10.30am. Spent 2 nıghts at the Angela Apartments. Basıc and self caterıng and free coffee tea orange juıce and cakes tıll 1pm in receptıon a bonus. Had to be back at the port on departure day at 4pm to leave at 4.30pm. Arrıved back ın Fethıye at 6 pm ısh but dıd not get home tıll 8pm . If you are doıng a day trıp ıt ıs a long day. You can get a  bus from the local bus staıon to Lıdal's but would recommend a taxi.
