Should be good by all accounts, nice to be talking about a Radio 1 DJ other than the one that...you know...

I used to love Kenny Everett and one day I was singing his praises in the office where I worked in Liverpool. An older lady in the office said he was a disgrace and she would not watch him.  I started an argument with her and it turned out she was his Auntie and had kept it secret from us.  She said the family where disappointed with Maurice (his real name was Maurice Cole)  I could not understand  that, but looking back I can see he was before his time and the older generation did not understand his humour.
