How to post images that are larger than a pin prick in the actual post

I have noticed that some people seem to have worked out how to post images that are a decent size in the actual post. Can you tell me how to do this please

To do this I use the old method, upload them to a hosting site, like photobucket and then link to the image in your post

The photos that are added using the "Add image to post" easy link are displayed as thumbnails (not "pin pricks" Nichola, what is it with women and size) -  this is helpful as it prevents the five mile wide photos we've all seen that send us scrolling towards China to see them. The ones added at full size already are posted in the traditional fashion like the old days - using the [/url] type tags - as was on the previous style of forum.

In case anyone wasn't aware, the full size image can be seen by clicking on the pin pric thumbnail.

The poster of the thumbnail can choose the size of their clicked on image when adding the photo (do not resize, 640 x 480 etc)
