holiday taxis .com
« on: October 12, 2012, 12:41:19 PM »
Hi all-----i have just returned from a lovely holiday in calis only marred by the fact that my transfer back to the airport didnt turn up as arranged and had to get taxi.-----my transfer was done from link on easyjet website with holiday taxis .com who then used yesil dalyan travel.----i have never had any problems using this before----i rang the numbers supplied on all holiday taxi numbers supplied to reconfirm pick up times but all, numbers unobtainable ,however i checked their website and my pick up time was logged there so i thought no problems.----After  returning home i emailed yesil dalyan travel who stated that they were not dealing with holiday taxis any more and i should contact my travel agent and it was nothing to do with them!!!------the security guard on my complex stated he thought that holiday taxis had gone bankrupt.----although i see on easy jet website that they are still taking bookings...... i have e mailed them and awaiting response.-----so just a word of caution with booking any transfers with holiday taxis .com through easy jet cos they may not turn up!!!!!!!!!!!!---- jim h

Funny that. On another website someone is asking whether it's true that Yesil have gone into administration.

Holiday taxis used to use "United Blue" at Dalaman. It was Yesil Dalyan who transferred us in May and again in September. I wont be booking a tranfer with holiday taxis again, as we had to wait and absolute age on arrival at Dalaman on both occasions. Yesil use larger coaches and they, like the Thomsons and Thomas Cooks, now wait for folks from several different flights. We sat on the transfer coach this time for 1 hour 10 mins before departing. 55 min wait in May too. We were spoiled by United Blue as their transfer vehicle was Dolmus size. Longest we waited on bus with United Blue was 20mins, as a very disabled elderly lady needed assistance to get her and her luggage to the bus. The driver always stopped and provided us with a bottle of water too. A vendor comes on the Y.D coach and sells water and soft drinks.

Second hand but heard from those directly concerned in the last few weeks.

Yesil Dalyan collected couple at Dalaman Airport for transfer to Fethiye.
Large number of people on bus but they were going to Olu/ Hisar.

Fethiye couple dropped off near Kipa and their hotel had been phoned by Yesil to send someone to come and get them !
