What a great start to 2013.  We braved the briny and raised a lot of money for Turkish children and animals in need, for just 5 minutes in freezin water and a bit of effort, making our costumes.
I really wasnt up for it, as have a sore throat and cold but wasnt gonna back out and loose the sponsership money( a couple of whiskies before going in, did the trick!!).  It was a real community spirit and lovely to see so many people on the prom.  I would like to thank all my neighbours, friends and family and people I dont even know!! for their sponsorship and for those who jointly sponsored Mercury and I.  Gonna spend all day in bed 2moz as still cant get warm!!!!

What my partner in crime didnt say is that she is staying in bed with the biggest bar of chocolate I have ever seen in my life but she was very unwell today so she deserves it. ... Wonder if that will get me a chunk of it.

Brillant day, enjoyed by everyone, great to have so much fun raising money, which both the animals and children will benefit from. We enjoyed it as much as you did Tinks. Lovely atmosphere and a big thanks to Nalan and Erhan for being such lovely hosts.

hi the brave lady was my wife Jo, the two Oompa Loompa's talked her into it during an alcholic haze on New Years Eve at the Nil Bar, and being the ever loving husband I spent most of new years morning reminding her of her promise.

Aww thats brilliant Bob... Thank YOU and please thank JO very much... 250 is a brilliant donation and very unexpected. We were all really happy with it on the day as you can imagine.. We can do a lot with that sort of amount... Happy New Year too you both.. I hope you and JO enjoyed the day.Its a fun day.
