Calis Car Boot Sale takes place tomorrow morning and despite the bad weather during the night and early this morning, the weather is looking favourable for tomorrow so we hope lots of people will attend.
Early in December the 3C's announced that due to an increase in the cost of table hire, that we were regretably going to have to increase the cost of a pitch (which includes two tables) to 20TL from January 2013.
Our committee has now reconsidered this increase and we are pleased to advise everyone that we have decided to continue to charge just 15TL for a pitch for the rest of the season and will absorb the increase ourselves. However in order for us to maintain this price, which we have held for the last four years, we need your help to do this.
Stall pitches in future will strictly be limited to two tables for 15tL. Any further space used will constitute a further pitch. You will be able to have four tables but this will constitute two pitches so you will have to pay double.Also since we started car boot sales six years ago, we have always allowed all charities to have one pitch for free and we have paid for their tables. We will continue to provide all bona fide charities with one free pitch including the two tables but any further space taken up by them will be charged for at normal pitch prices (otherwise it becomes one charity subsidising another).
