Charity Promises Auction date announced

I know it is still a long way off but the 3C's would like to announce that this year's annual Charity Promises Auction will take place on Wednesday 29 May.

The Charity Auction is the Calis Children's Charity's biggest fundraiser of our fundraising year and every lira goes towards helping children and funding childrens projects in the local Calis/Fethiye area.
Last years auction raised a record 15,000TL.

As you can imagine,  if you have attended one of our auctions previously,  the event takes an enormous amount of organisation,  so the earlier we start the better.  If anyone wishes to pledge a "promise" it is never too early to do so and we at the 3C's (and of course the children who benefit) would be very pleased to receive these.

Please make a note of the date in your diary. Hopefully loads of you will be out on holiday then as it is half term in UK.

Woop woop   I am out then was so gutted I had to miss it last year, I was in bed for two days poorly, fingers crossed that wont happen this year, I will defo be having a bid, I will keep my eye open in the Uk for something to donate as well....

Return to UK two days beforehand, had such a great time last year now trying to change flight. any excuse for a couple more days in Calis
anyway in Calis or not will as before get involved can taste the cheesecake already

Never had people trying to change their flights for us before Bob - hope you manage it    and you are right, the  white chocolate cheesecake is the best in Turkey!!!!

Also great that you are out for it Karenina - we hope it will be as huge a success as last year and thanks for your offer of a donation  .

Hopefully we will be out for the auction and Shirley has already sorted some bits out for it.It's the best event of the year and we would hate to miss it.

We already have some great "Promises" in and will start photographing some of the items ready for the listing shortly.  Our auctioneer extroadinaire George "Rimms" with gavel at the ready is booked to host the evening so it is all systems go   .
