Stuart1955  I'm sure that there will be a lot of people in your position, having paid deposits.  Ring Mehmet and ask him what the situation is.  If you have his card then his UK number is on it.
Others:  The Lagoon is back with the original owner and looks good and the Berk also has improved comments fr anyone wanting accommodation on the front.
.  We have spoken to Mehmet already and he is keeping us informed so with abit of luck we won't have find anywhere else to stay. Will miss Mehmets charm and hospitality and Serhats meals

I always stayed at the Grand Vizon before moving here. It is very quiet, no entertainment which is what I wanted. My outlook was I go out to get entertainment, when back at hotel for night I want to make sure of sleep. Only a 5 minute walk to the start of the promenade and bus routes. Mainly German and Turkish people staying there but seemed regular customers, staff very friendy and helpful and their limited English was not a problem.

Angela I stayed at the Bezay last year and I would go back.  Staff friendly and breakfast ok. Rooms were clean.
