The question is, would he have done this if the other guest was a man?

Answer. No! He did it because the guest was a woman therefore the act of drawing no doubt an over sized willie to get a cheap laugh was down to gender and therefore an act based on the sex of the recipient.

Was it harassment? Maybe! Maybe not! It would as has already been said depend on the woman on how the receiving end felt about it. Some may just laugh it off and see it for as a reflection on him. Others may feel shocked, others embarrassed and unsure how to respond and if this is live TV not a very nice way to feel I would imagine.

We are almost getting into the sharing of joke texts that are sexually related with the opposite sex being harassment.
No way as I see it. I will forward risqué texts with certain females at work because I know they will find them humorous, that is not harassment...(I think)

But if one decided to take your text as harassment rather than humorous, including her might cost you your job.

It's ironic that at the time where women are finally at their most equal and more free than ever to live as liberated a life as they now can, that some of them go out of their way to find reasons to be offended.

If I was sitting at a bar and a girl passed me a drawing of her fanny, I wouldn't feel in the least harassed. There, I said it!

In my eyes... no, not sexual harassment. He drew a picture and passed it to her... he didn't bully her or coerce her.. and if it was only a sketch he didn't promise any sexual favours...
