Lance next time you ask for Marie Rose Sauce as well as the ketchup and mayonnaise, you need some more ingredients which are:
A shake of worcestershire sauce
A couple of drops of tabasco sauce
A good dash of brandy
Now that will make your sauce much nicer...particularly the brandy..  ;)

I was a chef so i know how to make it ,but just thought that would have been to much for him to understand ,giving him all those extra bits any way it would still have come up hot sauce ,mind you it was better than the one i had at Guvens a couple of years ago ,everything cooked fresh even prawn cocktail hot prawns disgusting . ;D

It's hardly a traditional Turkish dish Lance - maybe they'd welcome your chef knowledge greatly if you offered to show them how to make a great prawn cocktail.

I went Shaka Wednesday night as well.
I thought the food was Terrible.
Portions so small it was pitiful.. My dish was suppose to be meat with mushrooms in white sauce.
I got 3 tiny pieces of meat and some mushrooms hard boiled rice and 3 small florets of Brocolli.
I sent the food back.
My friend had Fijjitas. 2 roled pancakes that could not be unfurled.. Replaced them and they were the same.
I didn't wanted to spoil my other friends night out, so I gave them some money towards the bill
And walked..
Get a grip Shaka.

Lance perhaps, you'd have been better ordering something from the menu as Prawn Cocktail isn't on any of the menu's I have ever seen and maybe the chefs aren't familiar with the recipe or your instructions were lost in translation?   ;)

At least they tried to give you what they thought you wanted, most other restaurants wouldn't have even bothered to try!

A fillet steak that is described on the menu as 220gm with a price against it is surely what you got?

I also recall that Weds night was Sushi Night so I'm sure the chefs were very busy on the speciality on offer and personally I would avoid any restaurant holding a speciality night, if I wanted to eat of the menu but that is just my opinion.

Your comments about the owner are, quite frankly, rude and very insulting and not necessary. I'm sure you'd would not be happy if someone came on here and said the same things about you!

Yes I am a fan of this restaurant and Yes I know the owners & family very well and yes if they deserve criticism then say it and I know Osman will try to sort it out, but you post is a bit out of order IMO.

Barry44544 I'm sure Osman is looking into your comments....

I was in Shaka at 7.45 the Menu I was given never even mentioned Sushi!! Or was it on any of the notices inside the restaurant. There was about maybe 20 people in the, so not rushed of their feet.
They Laughed when I complained about my dish. And I didn't find it funny. And they still took my money.
Bad Service and bad food should not be tolerated by Owners or Custermers.
