My Dads first car was one if these as he only had a motor bike licence at the time.
I used to beg him not to pick me up from school.

(No idea why it's uploaded 2, tapatalk has been horrible since latest update)

Our family never having a car when I was young, I always longed for one and especially loved Crestas, so American looking and sleek!

In taking Lotty's point and going slightly off topic, I used to think this was a fabulous car when it came out

What was I thinking.

My Dad's was a Vauxhall Victor then another Vauxhall Victor, then a Cresta with leather bench seats, which was my favourite.  He took us on holiday all the way from Liverpool to Barcelona in all three of these cars.

I must say that while it may have been embarrassing at the time, kayakebab's dad's first car looks incredibly cool to me  :)

Trust me it wasn't. It even had to be kick started like a motorbike, and I seem to recall there was no reverse gear.
The next one wasn't much better:

This was my Dads 1st car.  We travelled all the way to Butlins at Ayre in Scotlad for holidays at least twice that I can remember.  Not bad travelling from Tyneside.
