Small world Mercury!

I must admit this topic has really brought back memories of the bands I've seen over the last 50 years (I started young!!) and have seen some really great acts.
However, my one big regret, which I think I've said on here before in other topics, is that I never got to see Queen perform with Freddie Mercury before he died. That would have been amazing.
They did come to Leeds, Elland Road I think, early eighties but we didn't go, probably because our girls were only little then and we probably couldn't afford to!

But, just for something to look forward to when we get back from Calis at the end of May

, we're going to see 'One Night of Queen' in Bradford. This is a guy called Gary Mullen who, years ago, won Stars in Their Eyes as Freddie Mercury and now tours the world with his tribute act. Now I 'm not normally a fan of tribute acts, most of them aren't that good, but this guy is fantastic. We've seen him a couple of times before and had a really great night.
