Yes we are excited as Embrace Childrens Health Charity are opening a new shop in Gunlukbasi . Our latest project is hearing aids for young deaf children and this year we have spent 20,000 lira on supplying modern technology to enable children who had between 20% and 40% hearing achieve 85%.The response from these youngsters has been overwhelming and with this in mind we are doubling our efforts to provide as many hearing aids as we can.Imagine getting to 15 years of age and never having heard music or laughter or birds singing yet all this is possible if the money was available. We hope the new shop will give us the opportunity to help as many youngsters as possible and that we get the support we need . Any donations of clothing,household or bric a brac will be gratefully received and can be collected if necessary. The new shop is almost opposite the Police Station and in a small side road between the Arkdeniz patisserie and the Turkcell shop and is next door to the Wella hairdressers so very easy to find .We will shortly announce our actual opening date and times. Most of us take our good fortune in being able to hear for granted so let us try to help those less fortunate as it literally transforms their lives .
