Hi,

My name is Nalan and I'm originally from Turkey.  Having lived in London for the last 33 years you can honestly say I'm an Anglo-Turk! My husband is Scottish and absolutely adores Turkey and it's our plan (subject to schools) to permanently move to Turkey this summer with our children aged 7 and 11. When we do, it would be great to meet up with other British families with children of similar age. I'm about to post a question on schools very shortly, so if anyone can help it would be very much appreciated...........

Thanks everyone,

Definitely looking forward to the big move!  Have had some responses back regarding schools so at least I know they exist!  We're planning on coming over for a few days during the end of May to visit the school in person and also look at properties.  At the moment Fethiye and Calis are the areas we're considering but I'll keep you posted.  It would be great to meet up and I'll always be on hand to offer my interpreting skills for free!!!
