I know my husband sometimes has a 'weird' sense of humour but at least he doesn't have a foul mouth!! And you a lady "Mrs Bucket"!!!!! Well now it's my turn to LOL, but I said it bit more politely!!

Ahhh, sorry Angela - George won on this occasion!! My head knows that it makes sense, but my heart is broken!! He was so adorable but dogs do take a lot of looking after (if they are looked after properly) and we didn't want to commit to the responsibility. We did used to have a dog many years ago, a Jack Russell and 3 cats and we always said that when they went to pet heaven we wouldn't replace them!! Maybe in a few years we might have a change of heart but for the moment we are pet free!! PS - George assures me that Socks has gone to good home with nice new parents!!

Thank you. He was adorable,  I'd have been the same. We are planning a move out to Calis next year with our two Jack Russells, but I'm sure once we lose them and taste the freedom it'll be a big decision to get another dog.

Good luck with the move Angela and I hope your Jack Russell's adapt ok to their new way of life - I'm sure they will as many other ex pats have brought their pets over and they seem fine. Maybe I'll bump into you when you're taking them for a walk along the prom!!
