Some people make a difference, a difference that may not always be agreeable to all, but I believe that Margaret Thatcher did what she did and made the decisions that she felt were for the benefit of us all.

To have such a determined belief in what you want for your fellow countrymen and carry it out takes some very special person. Such a strong women in British politics at that time and since.

She was someone who comes by very rarely in life.

Such a shame that her later years appeared so bare.

Rest in Peace Iron Lady :(

Well said teetee and I would also say that women in politics / power were taken much more seriously after Maggie - an equal to any man

What has been pleasing is that there has not been any of the vile vitriolic language that has been used on facebook.
