Oh I would

If you think this is an aggressive forum you'd be skinned alive on some others  :)

Sorry for the expletive I'm trying to hide but I would simply tell them to go away, using 2 other words, and I'd leave because life's too short for c**p and arguing. Mine is anyway!    :)

My dander is almost up.
I have never been so insulted.
I am going for a walk around my secure ward.

I may be some time.

In that case, make sure your straitjacket is on and don't lick any windows. Somebody else has to clean them!! :-\

Thank you to loz and H for your kind words, recently I've found that sometimes it's easier to be a mediator on topics such as this, especially if my knowledge of it isn't as great as others.

Bouquet, I can understand your frustration as Thatcher hasn't been dead long, but either way she still won't be able to defend herself when she's been cremated, or indeed in many many years to come when people look back and try to decide an opinion on her. Some of the decisions she made had such a big impact and change on peoples lives that she always be a bad political figure, regardless of whether she ill, lonely etc. She was a controversial figure when alive, it certainly won't stop now she's dead and most won't let that affect the way they saw her.

I'm sorry, but I find this post extremely offensive.  There are unfortunate souls who through illness have to be restrained and the implication of licking windows...  well I say!
