How did this thread get to be all about Mrs HB? I have been off for a check-up down at the Eye Hospital for the last several hours (I have a season ticket there) and I hoped that, by now, there would be some interesting alternative views on last evening's street parties celebrating the death and various views of what public participation will be like next Wednesday. Might have been interesting. Instead it is another tour of HB's self-obsession.

Thank you Miss.M. they are very sensible words and as I'm sure I said before, history will judge her.  In any case, I don't think any of us are here on earth as judge or jury.  It is not our right.

As for the other comment.....enough have been thrown at me which I found offensive.  What about those?

I really am becoming most bored with it now and would much rather be on another thread.......laughing!!

Colwyn, this may not what you were hoping for but it does say something about public reaction.

The last time I looked at this site, there was a new entry in the Top 20.

I was shocked to see Duke Dumont at number 1 in that list.

Then I realised it's not the old boy from the Barron Knights.

Barron Knights' Duke D'Mond dies, aged 66
