I hoped that, by now, there would be some interesting alternative views on last evening's street parties celebrating the death and various views of what public participation will be like next Wednesday. Might have been interesting. Instead it is another tour of HB's self-obsession.

Well, next Wednesday I shall be going to work just as I do every Wednesday.  I was no fan of MT and I feel no obligation suddenly to pretend that I was just because she's dead.

It seems it won't be a public holiday. After all it is not something important like a member of the Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glucksburg family getting married is it?
