It seems to me that this is a very interesting form of protest and certainly a welcome antidote to the stream of gushing nonsense about the dead woman that overwhelms the air waves. Nobody was injured in its making, no damage to property, no police need to be involved and there is no cost to the public purse. If the BBC decides to censor it then, it seems to me, there would be a clear signal to those who are spending their own money to protest - "Peaceful protest doesn't work; if you want to get noticed then street rioting is the way". If it is in the charts, I think the BBC should broadcast it.

Yes, if it’s in the charts it should be broadcast. Censorship is a whole new debate.

Perhaps the supporters should also release a song, one they think describes her legacy more appropriately .  Any suggestions?

All proceeds to charity of course. It would be nice to depart with an act of charity.

Probably 'I did it My Way' would be the most appropriate.

Or 'A Spoon Full of Sugar'

 :)

Ho, ho, Stoop. I have a little difficulty seeing Mrs T as Mary Poppins.

I think the suggestions for an alternative tribute song can now be closed .... Nichola's suggestion cannot be topped.
