Hi,
We had a break in the other day. They took some money we had in a drawer, not a lot luckily. What the B****rds did take was a British coin collection I have had since about 45 years ago, and a stamp album from 50 years ago There is no great value in these items, other than an enormous sentimental value. They are no good to the person who has taken them. What I am asking is that if anyone is approached or they are seen to be up for sell, would you please get in touch with me.
Your help is needed many , many thanks. Phil
Many thanks for your response people. I thought I had better add some form of description of the items.
The coin collection was mainly bun pennies from the Victorian era, also there were some 2 shillings coins. having not looked at the collection for some time I cannot be exact. However they were kept in Green plastic folders which may have the name Elliot Brothers on the front.
The stamp album was Green with Gold writing on the front. My name was inside the front cover and the date 1952.
Many thanks
