Also depends on how far up or down the road you are, none yet down the bottom (seaward) end.

Quick update on the state of BMB. The edginging blocks are being laid and as of half an hour ago they had reached as far as the Fethiye Lovers office. The latest prediction is that work will be completed by the end of June with new pavements, drains, cycle path and road surface.

They have now levelled quite a lot of the paths ready to lay the bricks. As for traffic calming measures at least unlike The UK there weren't miles and miles of cones and not a workman in sight.

All kerb stones now been laid. Giant sand piles are now lying all over the road. I love how all the traffic just accept other drivers on the opposite side of the road than where they should be. Not one horn being blown.

Bit of an obstacle course for pedestrians though , having to walk in the road anyway because of the lack of flat pavement but add into that Cars, Bikes, and Dolmuses everywhere and as said before not a horn to be heard.
We walked down the length today just to see how things are going and we to are impressed how fast they are doing it and with the minimum of fuss really.
The next few weeks should be interesting.
