Hi Everyone!

Im currently looking for a rockabilly/blues band (or something similar) to perform at my 50s night at Letoon Hotel... and I was wondering if anyone has seen or heard of a band like this or even some singers in the area? Would be much appreciated as the season has already started and I'm struggling to find what I'm looking for!

Much appreciated

Ren

Sener from the Uzumlu Winehouse is probably the best person to ask.
Not sure about rockabilly but he has definitely had blues bands there.
Contact him via his profile

I would think that any singer can adapt to any sort of music if asked.
I refer you to the Blues Brothers film when they went to the Country and Western bar....The Rawhide scene was a classic... ;D
Also, try Salih at the Kings Garden he has live music on a Saturday, perhaps he can help. :-\

No, because he is dead...

My Father was a Social Secretary for years and the amount of singers he had on his books that would sing any sort of music if asked was absolutely amazing...

Mmmm, but how good were they?  Most singers can knock out a tune in many styles but you may not want to hear them twice! Professionals/semi-pros performing on club circuits would have 'dots' for the backing musicians and I don't know of many that could provide a whole evening in an alternative style to their norm.

Not successfully and there is a vast difference between the Blues Brothers and the singers in Calis
