Been to both and I agree with the other posters,Hulki's place does by far the better Indian food.

You can bet your life that when we try it that the chef is having an "off day".. I have read dozens of reviews on restaurants on here and we must be really fussy as we are generally quite disappointed.. The exceptions being. The Meeting Point.. Gunislik and Mozaik Bahcesi... others are hit and miss. Maybe we were unlucky...here's hoping...

  I was thinking this too and you also don't know what other peoples standards are or how often they eat out/at they are comparing it to or whether they like the owner and that makes them a bit overly positive etc.

I heartily recommend the special main that is at the top of the menu list (can't remember it's name) but it is described as dry and medium.

i think Meeting Point is ok,but wouldnt rate it the best in Calis,and  it hasnt got a lovely sea view, but thats my choice.
and like Calis Beach restuarant better.

We didn't go to Meeting Point at all this year. We tried it last year and it appeared to be about the same as other places. I couldn't discern why it was rated so highly here (above all others) it was about the same as other places for me although the owner did seem like a genuinely friendly bloke. It was always packed when we walked past so he is doing something right and won't miss our custom.

I like the feel and the food of Mangals along that stretch and although I'm not comfortable about the fish in the tank the kids always like to  have a look....They also like to watch the Turkish ice cream man doing his thing.
