Booking a boat trip early on in your holiday might be a good idea. You may not meet someone else travelling alone but we have always found that people tend to introduce themselves soon after boarding and on small boats there is a very friendly atmosphere.

I visit Calis on my own, and have had a great time each time I have been.  I go to different restaurants and bars, and everyone is very friendly, and you won't feel alone for long!  I am due to go to Calis again in a few weeks and can't wait!

As an idea, you have your photo in your profile so how about posting a larger one so CBF members who live out there or will be out there would maybe say hello if they saw you? They are a friendly bunch (in general!).

I holidayed in Calis on my own some 12 years ago and continued to visit for many years before eventually living there for a couple of years and I always felt safe.  Calis is a friendly place and the majority of people from the UK are very friendly and approachable and I am sure that some of them will speak to you when they see you on your own.  The Golden Moon is a nice hotel in a nice location and the staff are friendly and helpful.  Whilst Turkish people are friendly, you will probably be aware that lone women can sometimes be the focus of attention of some of the locals,  just be careful BUT do not be afraid.  Exercise caution just as you would anywhere.  I am sure that you will love Calis and want to return again and again.  Have a lovely holiday.
