CBF Pin Badges
« on: May 06, 2013, 11:22:33 AM »
I've been thinking about this for a while and more so with the lady posting that she was a little worried to be going out to restaurants and sitting alone.

Things were different years ago, there used to be me telling people "do you realise that's xxxxxx on the next table" but alas I moved     :)

I think the pin badge idea we had before is a great way to let people know you are on CBF but in a small, discreet way. I am thinking something along these lines (traditional fastener rather than pin badge type to make them thin for posting):

Price would work out at a couple of quid each including postage - that is reasonable but I would have to order a couple of hundred and pay for them up front and while I am happy enough not to make a profit, I don't want to be lumbered with half of them and lose money either     :)

Your thoughts?

I would pay three quid with a quid to charity of your choice.

Anyone else  :)

Happy to take some over for CBF members resident in Turkey  :)

Another near bursting of stiches moment re the wording not saying Cosmos tramopline club member  ;)I would be interested in purchasing one (to wear when in Calis) as I would love to meet some of the members on here who have given me invaluable advice over the years.... Also an example of maybe not knowing you are talking to a fellow CBF member, a while back I met the lovely Mark (Henderson) in the Avea shop but did not realise it was him I was talking to until he posted on here later and I put two and two together and realised it was him...

He he he  :)yes there is that advantage too.. I am more then happy like Highlander said to assist in taking any over to Turkey if need be, also that would be a cheaper way for posting as it is done by weight hence more money left over for the charity if the postal costs could be kept on the low side  :)
