This was the only photo I'd seen of him until recently

Please can I steal this line?  It made me 'laugh out loud' and will really amuse my friends - and of course,  I will pretend it's all my own work.

In common with the present Mrs H crabbit claimed not to be photogenic. The difference of course is that Brenda is far more attractive than this photograph suggests whereas crabbit isn’t.

He does however look very fit - for a man of his years that is.
