Exchange Rate

Cant find the original post, but recall we were discussing on CBF sometime last year what people thought the rate would be this summer, I think I forecast 2.90. today seckur bank Fethiye 2.85, so if this is indeed summer im nearly there.

A rate of 2.85 will do for me Des as I'm out there tomorrow, but please tell me where Seckur Bank is Fethiye is.

2.77 in change shops today

Rates shot up and fell sharply all in a day today - low of 2.83 to high of 2.88. Ended on 2.8407 - quite a journey in a single day.

moving around quite fast in one day Keith. in reply to Anthony, sekur bank is on the back street, one way system, where the hsbc bank is, next to the electric shop.

Hi All,

Whats the exchange rate at the moment??

Come over next Friday so would like to see what the change in exchange rate is over the weekend period (previous experience showed that it drops slightly over the weekend).

I was in touch with someone on Wednesday who said it was 2.99 in some banks in Fethyie so if any1 has checked please pass it on

You will get between 2.97 and 3.00 in the banks, goes up and down by the hour, as I have posted before I have always found sekur bank to give the best rate. change shops probably 2,93- 2,95 so its really swings and roundabouts, clothes shop con man, probably 2,77.but its the best we have had in the last few years. good luck.
