Great deal! I wonder if prices will drop now the protests have escalated?

Scrap that! My flights booked in December have gone from £250 to £330 with Monarch! I booked the same flight for my son last week and he paid £257. So they have gone up since the trouble started.

That's for 17 days.

The riots, which are really 'demonstrations' should not impact on holidays to Turkey as the holiday resorts are not near the areas where these demo's are taking place.  Demonstrations only escalate to 'riots' when the police become heavy handed.  People who do not know the geography of Turkey and who think going to Calis, Marmaris, Olu Deniz or the like, should stay in the UK and go to the "seaside".

Ray - that's rubbish mate! Of course it will impact on holiday sales. People who are not as knowledgable as yourself (who evidently should stay in the UK anyway) will not book a holiday to a place that is getting so much bad publicity. Who's to say there is not going to be a major strike and they shut all the airports?

.. And nobody but yourself mentioned riots on this thread did they?
