Patlangic market
« on: June 10, 2013, 13:18:43 PM »
A couple of years back we visited Patlangic Saturday market and they had installed high canopies on new steelwork with lights fitted, making it a 'permanent' market. Next time we visited it had all been removed. We assumed it had been built without permission.
Was that the case ???

I think it was erected  to stage an agricultural exhibition and was dismantled afterwards, would have made a good covered market area but not to be.

Crikey - That was an amazingly permanent looking piece of structure just for an exhibition !!!!
I'm sure the market traders would have loved it to be left in place - they must get fed up with
erecting and dismantling.

They now have a new market covered in not quite as big i prefer it more of a farmers market, from fethiye go past patlangic on your right , up to the top almost to the bridge your left and on your hand side big covered building ,think you find they are the traders who used to be on the bridge ,nice and friendly in there .just before the fiat garage.
