No, not at all. For many years I made my living either DJ-ing or managing night clubs, I also started hated visiting other clubs which had big unrealised potential, often it was very simple things that could have put them right.

Having only visited Calis in the busiest part of season (July-August) when a lot of families are out, I've found B52 is always busy then and usually around 11:30 to 2am it's at the peak. Mostly with people around my age who have escaped the parents for their own time away! The style of music usually appeals to my generation too - not wanting to sound rude about that, but usually whatever I hear on Radio 1 I'll hear there in the summer. Essentially, they appeal to one demographic but I understand the opinion about a prime location not being used to full advantage.

Coming out mid July this year, so who knows if it'll be the same as the last time I was there in 2011. Either way a review will be posted!

Wonder will these new laws about switching off music at midnight effect the B52 or Scarletts?

I kid you not we were having a coffee at the Gunisilk waiting for the lady next door to become available to do  me a pedicure and omg the racket that was going on from one of those places was unbearable,it may have been from the "nightclub" this was 12.00 lunchtime, it was no better when I actually got in to the salon for my pedicure am sure the floor shook at one point which totally unnerved me :( now I like music but this was totally ridiculous especially at that time of day to make things worse it was that repetitive "boom boom" music I thought I was going to lose my mind it was that bad, that certainly can  not be good for any of those business's along that street, in fact a Turkish chap got up and went somewhere and then came back I am sure it was to ask the culprits to turn it down!!!
